Dear Readers, 

Happy Holidays!!!  I know I said I would be back soon, but I didn’t want to bring you anything less than you deserve.  I thank you for your continued support, emails, and random “when’s the next blog” or “umm what happened?” messages.  I decided to give you the new me that has evolved since the birth of ShennaNanette.com.  For years, I’ve been that single “lesbian” writer to most.  I was single 5 years and prior to that, I’ve experience my share of heartbreaks.  Today, I am finally at a point where I am happy and ready to allow a new form of happiness to enter my world.   My inspiration for writing has always been “make believe” and/or heartbreaks.  I don’t want to play pretend anymore.  I already know what it’s like to write through pain.  My new challenge is writing through happiness.  I ask that you guys continue to support me as this is new for me.  I hope you enjoy this journey with me.  As for the BookUmentary, it is still in the works.  I’m just not satisfied yet, and I can’t inspire others if I haven’t been.  So my mission for the best “Queer Women of Color” is off to a brand new start.   Once again, I appreciate all of you from the bottom of my heart.  I will be back very soon!!!
