Thank you Mr. Sears and Mr. Roebuck

Today as I left Philadelphia and entered Camden, New Jersey, I rode pass an old building.  It was actually an old Sears, Roebuck, & Co. retail store.  I immediately began to tear and could not figure out why.  I’ve heard time and time again inspiration comes in the rarest forms.  This reminded me of Jason’s Lyric.  I remembered sitting at work waiting for the 7pm sunset while watching planes go by.  I’d imagine myself as a passenger.  I did not care where the plane was going; I just wanted to be a passenger on the plane.  Today I was a passenger on Greyhound returning to New York.  For that moment, I wasn’t going in the direction of NY.  My imagination was running circles in my mind and the destination was a place called, ‘Beautiful.”   For that moment, I had not a care in the world because I was heading to a place of new beginnings.  [“Find something you love to do and you'll never have to work a day in your life" -Henry MacKay] Today, I found an immense feeling of gratitude and inspiration in this abandoned building.   What does a building have to do with going somewhere and leaving where I am now?  I don’t know!  Buttttttttttttttttt, I believe in signs and honey this was mine.

Thank you Mr. Sears and Mr. Roebuck!  The first pic was taken by me with my Blackberry Storm 2.  The second photo is courtesy of  Robert Owens from Flickr.
